Endurance.

My recent visit to São Paulo was a moving experience. The sheer size and activity of this bustling city were overwhelming at times, and I couldn't help but feel heartbroken at the sight of so many Black and Brown people left homeless and hopeless.

It was an environment that demanded to be felt, and so I set out to capture its essence in this work.

From the daily routine of a solitary figure on a rooftop, to the unknown soul lying motionless on the bustling streets below, both accompanied by a symphony of sounds produced by the urban landscape itself, this piece seeks to embody the moments of endurance, loneliness, and anonymity that resonate so powerfully in this sprawling metropolis.
